Area Request

鉴黄师app welcomes members of the community to request rooms for meetings and events. To schedule a room, simply use one of the online request forms below. Please keep in mind that we are a SMOKE-FREE institution at all of our locations. See the lists below for descriptions of each area.

Rules

Priority for usage of 鉴黄师app buildings will be given to college-sponsored events.   However other groups/organizations may use 鉴黄师app facilities for educational, cultural, charitable, and special events as scheduling permits.

GUIDELINES FOR USE OF 鉴黄师app FACILITIES 

  1. Reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance for necessary approval and can be made electronically by submitting an area request form through the 鉴黄师app website.
  2. Reservations are not considered 鈥渁greed to鈥 until an email confirmation has been received by the requestor and a payment has been made.
  3. Persons making reservations will be held responsible for any damage to facilities or equipment. No decorations are allowed on the walls without permission. Moving of furniture in any building is prohibited unless prior arrangements have been made and approved.
  4. Groups/organizations may use the College for educational, cultural, charitable, and non-profit purposes, as scheduling permits.
  5. 鉴黄师app, USD234, and other Bourbon County schools鈥 reservations take precedence over all others. 聽Groups/organizations will be responsible for observing the (2) weeks advance notice of event to be scheduled and are expected to submit the online area request form through the 鉴黄师app website. Fees may be assessed for use of facilities by 鉴黄师app groups/organizations. All reservations are subject to availability.
  6. 鉴黄师app is to be notified immediately of any change in a scheduled event.
  7. The college鈥檚 foodservice contractor has exclusive rights for any onsite food preparation by all groups and organizations holding an event on 鉴黄师app鈥檚 campus. Outside food is not allowed unless approved in advance by the Business Office and the college鈥檚 foodservice contractor. The reserving party is responsible for contacting the college鈥檚 foodservice contractor at 620.223.2700 ext. 5071 or fortscott@gwdining.net.
  8. Children brought to the campus must remain supervised.
  9. Payment must be made to 鉴黄师app prior to event.
  10. The use of tobacco products are prohibited in 鉴黄师app Buildings.
  11. Alcohol and firearms are not allowed on the 鉴黄师app campus, facilities, or property.
  12. 鉴黄师app reserves the right to cancel any and all activities previously scheduled. 

*NOTE: “Area Request Safety Regulations Agreement” can be found and must be signed in the “Area Request” form located at the bottom of the page.

1. It will comply with the requirements of state and federal law that exist during the occupancy of 鉴黄师app facilities and premises and will ensure that any person attending any event also complies with these requirements. This includes, if applicable, strict following of social distancing guidelines, the use of protective equipment,  clothing and masks, and the screening of participants through questioning and the taking of temperature of participants.

2. It understands that there is no way that 鉴黄师app can allow the voluntary use of its facilities and premises to create any liability for 鉴黄师app for the practices followed by the undersigned. Therefore, the organization or responsible party shall have liability insurance covering any possible pandemic related claims, and shall save, indemnify and hold 鉴黄师app harmless from any claims made by its employees, agents, officers or participants for illness, injury or death related to any use of the facilities, including any claim that any person contracted COVID-19 or related illnesses while preparing for or attending an event, or contracted COVID-19 or related illnesses after or as a result of coming in contact with someone who attended an event or which was initiated at an event hosted by the organization or responsible party on 鉴黄师app facilities or premises.

Catering

All events that need catering MUST go through 鉴黄师app Great Western Dining Services and Catering. If Great Western Dining Services and Catering cannot cater that event at that time, then you may bring in an outside caterer. Please contact our Food Service at 620.223.2700 ext. 5071 with any questions. 

General Areas

During normal business hours, Monday-Friday from 8am-10pm, no charge for NON-PROFIT events. For PROFIT events or events charging admission there is a $35.00 fee.

After hours fees: (additional custodial fees may apply)

Agriculture Facilities

Fine Arts Center Fees

Theater:

  • $50 per hour for use of the stage-no special setup
  • $75 per hour for use of the stage, backstage, and dressing rooms-no special setup
  • $100 per hour for use of the stage, backstage, and dressing rooms WITH special setup
  • $15 per hour for custodial services
  • $25聽starting fee for tech support (required).聽ONLY THE 鉴黄师app THEATRE DIRECTOR AND/OR 鉴黄师app I.T. IS ALLOWED TO RUN THE SOUND BOOTH
    • 鈥嬧*The 鉴黄师app Theatre Director will discuss the event with the user鈥檚 designated contact person in order to determine the technical requirements for the event. Users are asked to designate only ONE person to coordinate the event in order to streamline the process.

Individual Meeting Rooms:

  • $50 per hour
  • $15 per hour custodial fee

All Meeting Rooms:

  • $150 per hour
  • $15 per hour custodial fee
  • $25聽starting fee for tech setup (if needed) – additional $25 per hour if tech support is required to be there

Weddings

  • $1,000 flat fee which includes 5 hours of the use of the Lobby and Meeting Rooms.
    • Every hour past five hours is an additional $100 per hour
  • $500 deposit is due once the reservation request is approved
  • $500 refundable security deposit is required to ensure the cost of repair of any damages done to the building during the event
  • 鉴黄师app鈥檚 food service contractor will be used for any on-site catering. The user is responsible for contacting 鉴黄师app food service contractor to make arrangements. No outside food is allowed unless approved by 鉴黄师app鈥檚 food service contractor.

    • They DO NOT do wedding cakes
  • Tables and chairs will be provided contingent on number and type needed and availability 
  • Trash bags/receptacles will be provided for cleanup
    • If basic cleanup (i.e. all trash is in a trash bag and ready to be dumped) is not taken care of after the reception, 鉴黄师app will charge聽$50聽an hour for cleanup.聽
